Spanning four floors in the heart of Chicago’s West Loop, DRW’s headquarters features an immersive plant design that seamlessly integrates greenery into the built environment. Nearly every plant element is housed within built-in planters, creating a bold, architectural approach to biophilic design. A striking plant wall serves as a focal point, while lush, integrated plantings add texture and vibrancy to workspaces, communal areas, and gathering points.

Given the scale and complexity of the installation, Coach House provided expert guidance on plant selection, ensuring each species was suited to its specific environment in terms of light, scale, and long-term viability. We continue to provide ongoing maintenance, keeping the plantings thriving and dynamic as they evolve within the space.
