Our Design Process

  • 01: INTRODUCTORY CALL

    Our initial consultation will consist of discussing your vision and basic project details during a 30-minute phone call.

  • 02: SITE VISIT

    Whenever possible, we’ll visit the space to gather key details, such as lighting conditions, and evaluate the best plant placement options.

    If your project is still in the planning stages, we can review floor plans and specification documents to better understand the scope and design requirements.

  • 03: DESIGN & ESTIMATE

    After our site visit, we’ll craft a tailored design proposal outlining recommended plants, containers, a custom layout, estimated costs, and a preliminary timeline.

    For projects with built-in planters or other integrated plant installations, our recommendations balance visual impact with practical maintenance considerations.

  • 04: PROCUREMENT

    Once the design proposal is approved and the deposit is received, our team gets to work. We source containers, clean and treat plants, and prepare all necessary materials.

    Most installations take place within 2–4 weeks of project approval, though timelines may vary based on customization and lead times.

  • 05: INSTALLATION

    On installation day, our team arrives prepared to bring the project to life. Plants and containers are delivered with care, and we maintain a safe, tidy workspace throughout. We work efficiently to minimize disruptions to you and your team.

    Once the installation is complete, we walk you through the space to introduce your new plants and ensure everything meets your expectations.

  • 06: MAINTENANCE

    Ongoing plant maintenance ensures the plants in your space always look as good as they did on install day. Our maintenance service provides expert plant care from highly-trained professionals. Plants under our care are guaranteed — if they fail to thrive, we replace them free of charge.

    Maintenance contracts include weekly or bi-weekly service visits and vary according to the scope of your installation.

Each project is tailored to suit your space and vision, requiring thoughtful planning and expert execution.   • Yes, we offer plant maintenance services for projects installed by Coach House Plants. Our maintenance program includes regular visits from our experienced team to keep your plants healthy and thriving. This includes watering, pruning, cleaning, pest management, and replacing plants as needed, all tailored to the unique needs of your space. With our help, you can enjoy a beautiful, well-maintained environment without the stress of ongoing care.
